How to solve the BMW ICOM A2+B+C Diagnostic Tool software not compatible with the firmware problem?

Why my newest BMW ICOM software can not work with my BMW ICOM A2+B+C Diagnostic Tool interface? My BMW ICOM software is V2015.12.
There are many error showed after I inserted the software HDD. Please check the picture bellow.

For new software, when you run the software, software will recognize the firmware automatically. If your firmware is too old, then it will not be compatible with latest software. Sometimes, you may find that the file side the Genius and Flash Point ECU Chip Tuning Tool TF Card ruined. Then you will need to fix the file of the TF card. This video is to fix the TF card file for the Genius & Flash K-touch ECU Tool.

Tips1: You only can use the TF card from a complete set of the Genius. Do not use the TF card bought from the local market.
Tips2: Before fixing, you need to format the TF card.
Tips3: The k-touch.img fixing file must be in disk D or disk E. Do not put the k-touch.img in the file of the disk D or disk E.

• Remove the cluster and open it.

• Pull off the needles for speed and rpm

• Look for the 8 pin chip 24C08.

• Connect the clip to Port 3.
• Put the clip on the chip 24C08 (red on pin 1).
• Select the menu Audi-A4-A4 24C08
• The Tacho Universal shows you the old value.
• Select the menu Adjust KM.
• Enter the new value.
• Verify the new value with OK.

Customers: Hi, Shelly. I installed the Multi-Diag Access J2534 software as the video showed. But the software showed software expired. Do I need to update the software?

Solution:
1. Uninstall the Multi-Diag Access J2534 software on your PC.
2. Download this file on your PC from: http://www.mediafire.com/download/vdyx4l9wbnwk9dz/Desactivation+MAJ+MD.exe.
3. Install the software by the steps by following the description part: http://www.eobdii.fr/wholesale/i-2014-multi-diag-access-j2534-pass-thru-obd2-device.html.

BMW ICOM A1 or A2 V01.40.05 Firmware Update Steps

Both the BMW ICOM A1 and the BMW ICOM A2 interface has updated the firmware to the newest version V01.40.05. Now we will show you the update steps.

1. Use the lan cable to connect the BMW ICOM A1 or A2 interface to the computer. Use the 12V adapter to connect the BMW ICOM A2 interface or just connect the interface with the car.
2. Use the IE to open this http://169.254.33.45:60080/.
user name: root
password: NZY1150263
3. Click once on “Update Firmware”. Then you can see the firmware information of the ICOM interface.
4. Choose ICOM-BootImage-01-25-02.bin. Then set the image type to be SYSTEM. Click “Send the file” one time.
5. When the computer prompt “Write the image file to the flash?”, choose “Yes”. At this time, the BMW ICOM A1 or A2 interface light will turn to red.
6. Click “Update Firmware”, after the tips of “The SYSTEM IMAGE update was successfull”.
7. Choose ICOM-ApplicationImage-01-40-05.bin. Set the image type to be APPLICATION. Click “Send the file”. This will take a few minutes to excute.
8. When the “Write the image file to the flash?” showed on the screen, choose “Yes”. The BMW ICOM A1 or A2 interface light will turn to red the second time.
9. When everything is back to normal, click “reboot”.

Attention:
1) Please set the local connection to be Automatically Obtain.
2) If your BMW ICOM software version is V2015.11, you need to update the BMW ICOM firmware to V01.40.05.
