Elsawin NOT displays Wiring Diagrams (solved)

Elsawin NO Wiring Diagrams: How to solve? Here are optional customer solutions.

Elsawin can not see wiring diagram pictures:
i installed last version of SVGView but still have the problem and i uninstalled and re install but the still the same issue
i did not got any errors while installing and did not have any errors when running.

When the wiring diagrams are not:
If you have properly installed SVGView
And we are working acrobat
The failure is Internet Explorer

Solution 1:
The solution is easy:
Open Internet Explorer-tools (Alt + X)-Internet Options-Advanced Options
And where it says “restableze values ​​Internet Explorer to its default state”
Click on the “reset”
Restart Internet and then open the Elsawin.

Solution 2:
NEW SOLUTION:
1- go to ( C:\ElsaWin\bin ) elsawin.exe
2- in the properties menu select compatibility service pack 2

Note: ELSAWIN is offline, you do not connect to the server …..

Solution 3:

I have found new solution for wiring diagrams no display problem:
–>go to C:/ElsaWin/bin
–>find SVGView.exe
–>run – install

Start ElsaWin, login etc..
–> search for any car – wiring diagrams..
–> Adobe acrobat reader window opens – confirm.
–> and it is working.

Solution 4 & Solution 5:

Finally found 2 solutions:

The first solution:
You must first install Audi 06-2014 on Elsa v5.10 and after update to Elsa v5.20, install Audi 03-2015.
(It seems that Audi 01-2015 and 03-2015 is only update version of data, and doesn’t include all data for old audinas).

The second solution:
Second alternative is manually unpack and copy contents of files from Audi 06-2014:

slp.A.en-GB.cab (for english version of data)
slp.A.cs-CZ.cab (for czech version… and so on, for needed languages)

to directory: C:\ElsaWin\docs\slp\

A Tire Pressure Monitoring System is a safety device that measures, identifies and warns the driver when one or more tires is significantly under-inflated or over-inflated. Majority of the TPMS adopt direct tire sensors. The TPMS sensor is typically located as a valve-mounted stem in the tire. It works by monitoring the temperature, air pressure, and battery state in a vehicle tire and automatically transmitting a warning to the driver via a warning light or dashboard display. Moi, j’utilise un clone HQ OP-COM avec la dernière version de logiciel qui couvre même Corsa D 2014 réalisée en février 2014 (elle couvre presque toutes les fonctions de Tech2 pour les voitures entre 2004 et 2013 et une meilleure connexion pour les voitures avant 1997 même est le même matériel de révision de l’outil B) et un AVDI (utilisant Tech2win et GDS2)

Si vous avez besoin d’une meilleure couverture, je vous conseille d’acheter un MDI GM, mais la maintte de GM Tech2 est toujours bonne

Lorsque vous connectez le MDI au MDI Manager, le Tech2Win ne verra pas non plus le MDI GM
Je n’ai pas utilisé T2w dans VMware jamais. Mais j’ai été essayé juste à mon bureau.
Le fait est que j’utilise un MDI authentique.
J’ai essayé un clone lorsque j’ai installé pour lui un GDS2 et T2W dans une installation native. Aucun problème.
Je pense donc que si vous utilisez un clone s’il y a de nouveaux problèmes.
Dans le cas de M. Xantrum, il utilise le système Win 7 64bit. Comme je me souviens, ce pourrait être le problème, mais pour vous dans VMware … Je ne sais vraiment pas
Veuillez nous montrer quelques photos, peut-être que vous faites quelque chose de mal ou vous manquez quelque chose dans l’installation
Dans VMware, il doit fonctionner

Review 1:

Tech2 hand held support more then Opel cars.
It support also Isuzu, Suzuki, GM and SAAB
Just changing the PCMCIA card or flash it the one you have if you have only one with the software for cars that you need.
But this tool cannot be used with GDS2 in newer cars models after 2008 ( here we are talking in newer cars as Insignia and Astra J not the models as Corsa D 2014 which is still supported by the Tech 2 hand held )
GM MDI can be used as Tech2 hand held in cars from 1997 till 2014 ( but models before 2008 ) using Tec2Win emulator and can be used with GDS2 in newer models cars as Insignia and Astra J

Me I’m using a HQ OP-COM clone with the latest version of software wich cover even Corsa D 2014 made in February 2014 ( it covers almost all functions of Tech2 for cars between 2004 – 2013 and better connection for cars before 1997 even it is the same tool revision B hardware ) and an AVDI ( using Tech2win and GDS2 )

If you need a better cover my advise to you is to buy a GM MDI but the GM Tech2 hand held it is still good
Anyway in the end it is your choice-this is only my opinion

Bin file for Ts2Web you can get it for free too
Now all opel bin file for Tis2Web starting from 1997
Only Tech1 hand held support cars before 1997
Not even Tech2 hand held do not cover that cars ( I asked a friend about this for you )

When you connect the MDI into the MDI Manager then the Tech2Win will not see the GM MDI too
I didn’t use T2w in VMware ever. But I was tried it just at my desk.
The point is that I am using a genuine MDI.
I tried a clone when I installed for him a GDS2 and T2W in native installation. No problems at all.
So I am thinking if you are using a clone if there is a ny problems of this.
In case of Mr. Xantrum he is using win 7 64bit system. As I rememember this could be the problem but for you in VMware….. I really don’t know
Please show us some pics maybe you are doing something wrong or you miss something in setup

Step 1: Run StartKeyCenter to get ID for activation

Open “StartKeyCenter” on Desktop, to get the SD connect c4 Hardware ID and App ID

This is how to set up Router or DHCP server for BMW KOMBI and NBT programming with Enet e sys cable or ICOM A2 Ista-p.

Why LAN cable connection better than WLAN from rounter to PC:

Because ista P does not support wlan connections. Probably due to stability liability.

Ista p does not support wifi (wlan) and will not start ista p server if the wifi is enabled on the laptop, only ista p client will open and you cannot select istap server to program. Imagine if the wifi connection drops during programming then the car is screwed up. There are good reasons why bmw doesn’t allow programming via wifi

How to use the Router programming:

ICOM and computer must be connected through a router with DHCP server enabled. no direct connection laptop -> icom.

But you don’t have to use a router. But you do need a DHCP server running on the laptop on the ethernet interface.

It’s pretty easy,

1) Set a static IP on the Ethernet (not wireless) interface – I use 192.168.254.1
2) Install DHCP server (http://www.dhcpserver.de)
3) Configure DHCP server to listen on the Ethernet interface
4) Click on the buttons to set firewall ports and run as service
5) Connect up your ICOM and it’ll get a DHCP address from the DHCP server

Then you can program everything without faults.

I use this on multiple ISPI laptops and never had an issue and never needed a router to connect the computer and ICOM to.

BMW ICOM or ENET cable: which better for flash

There are problems with both ICOM and ENET. ENET can’t flash all ZGW modules and ICOM can’t flash any NBT units (including all other control units in MOST bus like KOMBI, AMP and so on). Fix is the same for both, use DHCP server to assign IP adresses. With ENET you can flash NBT even without DHCP server and with ICOM you can flash ZGW without DHCP server. You can even flash whole car without DHCP server by first flashing the ZGW with ICOM and then flashing the rest with ENET.

I meant that ENET is no worse than ICOM, and very very likely original ICOM is no worse than ENET. Anyway the difference is academic. Chinese cloned ICOM’s can be worse than ENET. New original ICOM Next costs around 510 euros, I think that there is no different between it and ENET in reliability. I don’t even remember when I last time used ICOM for F-series flashing, it was over a year ago anyway.

KOMBI and NBT programming review:

I flashed several F10,F20 with 3.56.4 and ICOM A2 through dhcp and its working well.
MOST connection will be used in Exx series, i flashed also some R56 and many E91 with most connection.

Just add a router and connect the icom to it and offcourse your laptop to the router.
Open a browser and type: ip address of your icom:60080 (User name: root Password: NZY11502) and change lan setting to dhcp. Reboot icom and check with iToolRader the new ip address of your icom. It should be 192.168.x.x
Fire up ista-p and do your coding.

For the connection issues of CAN CLIP Renault SP19-D, you’re advised to rework the PCB:

It was very useful information of Mecedes workshop information system….In WIS online I noticed that it is possible to toggle cable colors between black/white and their respective colors.In my WIS offlineI also have at the moment no possibility to check it.

This only works for newer vehicle schemas.

“Newer” – it works from 204 and up. So from 2007-today.

(But this option does not exist at 202,210,211,220 etc, not for all models.)

To enable the button do the following: (I only can tell you in German, just google for translate if you cannot follow.)

Optionen -> WIS -> Leitungslinien schwarz-weiß anzeigen (uncheck it)

That option is there for all models. It is there even without choosing any model. But it doesn’t do anything.

To be honest, I often prefer Starfinder to WIS for wiring diagrams, pretty much all the diagrams have colours, also reference values and location of components come in nice and handy.but Starfinder is not always right.. WIS is far more accurate.
